i recently started a rain gutter business ,i know bad timming, what would you suggest?

i have been in home &garden show, in teh phone book ,left numerous cards at stores,realty offices etc.i just need to know a better way to advertise

door to door... build your business the old fashion way... reputation... when doing a job put sign in the yard while you work and a week or two after.
If you do a leaflet emphasizing that winter will soon be with us and that now is the time to weather proof your home, buildings this should help.

You can then use this leaflet in the way shown on the website below. It does work because I have used this method for promoting my web site and the traffic increased. It is also equally good for land based businesses such as yours. Best of all is costs almost nothing if you do the leaflets on your computer.
