Are there tv shows that help people get a job?
I'm on vacation watching home and garden channel getting all sorts of ideas of what to look for when I buy a home. I pondered the thought that it's likely more people are looking for a job than a home. Is there some tv program that does a resume makeover or coach interview skills and other job hunting techniques? I'm sure there's a huge market for it.

- Doubtful there is already a huge market established of people who will professionally do up a resume for you as well as a cover letter for a fee
- weeds on showtime.
- Im sure your right there probably is a huge market for it. All I can think of is probably the apprentice that comes closest to that kind of a show, that teaches people executive skills.
- The local cable provider has a channel that they list government jobs, but I've never heard of one that lists private jobs. I guess there are too many other sources that have job postings such as internet and classifieds. It would be a good job opportunity to create such a show.
- there are plenty of services that do that, just not on tv. you can't do that on tv because you will inevitably make one company look bad compared to another and no one is going to want that type of publicity. to be honest i think an interview coaching show would be pretty boring. the closest thing they have are shows where people compete for jobs like Top model and Hells Kitchen which are designed with excitement and challenges.
