How do I remove sticky sap from wooden garden furniture?
Public Comments
- You can use something that has orange oil in it...it's like goof off but it won't ruin your furniture, let it sit for a couple of minutes and the removal is a breeze. I use it all the time to get stickers and gum off of stuff.
You can pick it up at hardware stores (and MAYBE drugstores) & it's called Goo Gone
- this is natural oils escaping from knots when the wood heats up. seal the knots with a timber treatment, ask for at any DIY shop.
- Haven't a clue but i sure am dying to fiond out!!!
- Here is a short but useful tip. Use Mineral Spirits to remove the sap. Hope this helps.
- Use knotting solution available from ScrewFix
