Garden furniture paint is quite expensive, is there anything else that will do the job just as good?

  1. Sadolins wood stain is not too expensive and more importantly easy to apply and quick to re apply next year

try their Super Dec Good luck
  2. Well, depending and what the material is your looking to paint, if it is metal or plastic you could go with Krylon brand paint. It is designed for both interior and exterior use.

  3. Prior answerer believes you have wood garden furniture. I suspect you have plastic, and have noticed that the Krylon paint for plastic is crazy expensive. Unfortunately, they seem to have a corner on the market for the time being. I do not think there is another product that will not continually scratch and chip off. I was going to re-do some chairs myself, but stopped the plan when I saw the investment. Almost cheaper to get new furniture! Consider some of the cleaners they have now made just for resin furniture.
  4. Try rubbing it down and using teak oil instead.
