I would like some suggestions on how to clean the blinds in my house. They are good blinds.?
The contractor told me not to take them apart but clean the blinds as is. I have this one device which goes in between the blinds to dust but the dust is still on there. This blind cleaner needs to be sent back to China. I would appreciate some good suggestions. I have just thought that maybe I need to take a damp sponge and clean each one individually. How is that idea? Thank you for the suggestions.

- You're right one at a time will work best.
- Compressed air...you can find it near the electronics. You just spray the dust off the blinds. The dust will land on the window and/or sill so just wipe away the dust after spraying. Good luck!
- I just did the ones in my room and they turned out great.I took a sponge and wet the blind slats then i took down and did the other side then got the Windex with the orange kind in it and sprayed them down and then let set for a few minutes then took a rag and started one side to the other and wiped them off.You might have to do a little muscle power if it is bad but really worked for me...we smoke that made it worse..good luck and hope it helped
- We always used an old rag and cleaned the blinds with 409 or Windex, but there is a great product called Pledge Multi-Surface. It cleans and shields your blinds from future dust--at least for a while! I love this stuff for cleaning blinds. It works great! I hope you find a way to clean your blinds!
- Close them all the way, then dust with a soft cloth that is slightly damp. Then close them all the way in the opposite
direction to clean the other side.
- Try something like a grease dissolving agent (dawn) and warm water and wipe each one.
- Things You’ll Need:
Outside faucet
Water hose
Water hose attachment
Mean Green cleaner
Step1
Remove all the blinds from your windows and/or doors.
Step2
Take the blinds outside, and then sit them up against a hard surface and spray them down with Mean Green. (Mean Green does wonders for cleaning all sorts of things).
Step3
Hook the water hose to your outside faucet then place the attachment on the end of the hose.
Step4Turn on the outside faucet and spray each set of blinds off.
