How do I take down Sunburst blinds that are glued to sheet rock?

I have a large half moon blind above my sliding glass window. It is gluded to the wall. I want to take the blinds off the wall.

If it's glued to dry wall then it's going to tear paper off when you remove it. What you can do to minimize this is score around the unit with a utility knife first to contain the paper loss then pry it off the wall. Fill the damaged area with joint compound after and sand smooth be fore repainting.
