Can I make cement/concrete garden furniture myself? I have a mixer!?

I want to build a firepit and surround it with smooth cement/concrete seating. Do you know how I can do this? Or should I just use wood!

1. make templates of ply and fill with your concrete
2. thats a really big job. if you know what your doing its not so big. but from the sounds of it you should hold off. read some books on it first. Something like this isn't temporary you want it to look fantastic and unlike any other. so plan it out. read and if you feel your up to it, then do it.
3. Yes go for it,you must be able to get info on the net,i would think you would need some sort of chicken wire frame,sounds like fun.
