How do i take down my venetian blinds?
I need to paint my kitchen but there are ventian blinds fitted to the ceiling in the bay widow. I cant see how they disconnect/unscrew so that I can take them down. Painting around them would look terrible. Can anyone tell me how they are usually fitted.

- Usually, at either end of the blind, there is a square socket, with a hinged door, in to which the top of the blind is fitted.
Simply open the hinged "door" at each end and remove the blind.
I would not recommend removing the sockets, as they are fiddly to put up again, what with the confined space.
- ... also look for little holes that have been plugged.
- Most of them have a pair of clasps on the top at each end with a little tab overhanging the top rail of the blind. Pull the tabs forward and the blind will release.
