Do I need to cover my teak garden furniture when not being used?

2. Yes, as they tend to gather dust (as everything outside) and dirt and spiders and snails. During winter i cover (it does not snow even where i live)everything that cannot be taken inside or into a shed. Plus i put biological insect detergents onto/into the furniture.
   
   During Summer i cover everything too because of the dust. Pillows and such must be taken inside every night.
3. I did when I lived in Arizona. Kept out of sunlght as well, when not being used.
4. IT'S NOT NECESSARY,BUT IT WILL LAST LONGER.
