how can we help time fly on a friday afternoon at work when our office overlooks the pub beer garden!?
its so unfair, we have to listen to folk really enjoying an afternoon in the beer garden whilst we try and find something to do at work!!!!

- That's a bit of a wounder!! Try ear plugs and close the blinds.
- Throw erasers out of the window and try to score points by landing them in people's pint pots.

- Best way to make time fly at work on a friday afternoon is to keep your mind focused on something fun, and to of course try to find ways to make work seem for fun and interesting, and to not look out the window at the pub. That would just make your day drag on seeing the people out there at the pub.
- Try to catch up on paperwork from the week like filing and/or any loose ends that need to be tightened up. Close the curtains or blinds so that you don't see the pub beer garden until you get ready to leave the office.
- Watch them slowly get inebriated & enjoy the view
- Have a meeting down at the beer garden...
- You should count yourself lucky ...being paid and nothing to do and enjoy such a nice view.
Stop complaining man .... I wish I am in your position...toiling to make a living every weekday till late in the evening.
- I don't know about time flying, but surely there is something else you could make fly......i.e.the photcopier? Maybe even ,make it fly into the beer garden!
That would make for a great excuse to go to the pub!
- Ummm.... I think there is an urgent package that needs you to go pick it up... and ummm... I think its probably in the beer garden... best go immediately and look around in there until you find it!

Have you never heard of POETS Day? ( P* Off Early Tomorrows Saturday)
You could make the afternoon go quicker by inventing a game involving catapults made from elastic bands and trying to aim objects into peoples pints in the beer garden. 5 points for a paperclip, 10 points for a pencil sharpener, 50 points for a stapler..100 points for the boss' mobile or car keys!

- Flash your t*ts at them ... then your boss will hear the noise and send you home!

- Stop being so foolish, someone put their hand up and "go to the loo". nip down to the pub and order some beer with 100 straws, Place the beer in a corner of the pub garden and rush upstairs with the air of someone who has relieved themselves, then working as a team connect all the straws together under your desks and then lower them out of the window. Then take turns sucking on the straws
