How do you get rid of mould spots of wood garden furniture? I have a brand new garden furniture set bought this year and not used due to the weather! I covered it and yet now I see there is mould all over it and when I wiped it down there is marks and spots stained where the mould was... How can I get rid of or cover this?
Garden Furniture? We have a lovely wooden table and chairs but would they spoil if i left them out permanently for the summer? Theyre treated with something - ie they came like that. We hardly ever use them cos its a pain getting them in and out of the shed, but if i felt safe to leave them out we'd use them more! Its been so wet lately ..

Garden Furniture Table, chairs & a parasol, dont know whether to go for wood or glass & metal or plastic? I am looking for an attractive, sturdy easy to clean & look after table & chairs for my garden. I have some lovely teak garden furniture but it has some black spots on it, how do I clean them off? I have some lovely teak garden furniture I have had for several years and I am really pleased with it but this year some black spots have appeared on it, What are the black spots, why have they appeared and how do I clean them off? I want the furniture to stay natural looking if possible.
What kind of garden furniture do you like? I once found some really nice furniture made of really heavy wire covered in plastic so that the summer rains did not harm it ...... it was never hot from the sun ...... but it was in a park, and I never was there when the caretakers were there, to ask where it had come from ...... I love that stuff. With it went nice low round tables on a pedestal, in heavily coated natural wood ... they were also rainproof and really nice ... spill proof, too, and low enough for a child to feel comfortable using.... In this particular park, there were no umbrellas because planted in the seating section were Honey Locusts ... disarming and lovely ... Ta!

Repainting aluminium garden furniture. Advice required.? Have some old cast aluminium garden furniture, paint peeling off, white powdery 'salts' underneath. Some of the paint scrapes easily and other places seem well stuck. Do I need to remove it all? How shall I treat the 'salts'. With acid? What is the best type of paint to use for repainting. Thanks.
how do I maintain teak garden furniture? it is very hard work sanding it all down each year and repainiting it, there must be an easier way or a product that does not require the sanding down.

Furniture from garden tree? We have a gorgeous willow tree in our garden which will have to come down in the near future (For all you about to admonish me, i wish it could stay up, but its becoming unsafe and damaging our house foundations!) I would love to use the wood to make some furniture for our house. How do i go about this? Who do i need to talk to?
